Hans Dieter Seibel is a professor emeritus at Cologne University. He is specialized on microfinance and microbanking, linkages between formal and informal finance including digital linkages, agricultural development bank reform, SME development, M&E, and sociocultural system research. In the 1980s, he designed the linkage banking program with GTZ, FAO and APRACA and was team leader of the first pilot project in Indonesia. In 1999-2001 he was Rural Finance Advisor at IFAD and author of its Rural Finance Policy.
Christof Hoyler studied Cultural Anthropology and Rural Development in Germany, Portugal and Spain. His occupational career was shaped since 1994 by humanitarian aid missions to African conflict areas such as the Angolan civil war, the Great Lake region conflicts and the Sahel food crisis. Since mostly a decade his missions are focused on best development practice for green economy, capacity building, professional training and investor relations with African stakeholders.
